Background:
Prior to joining Tarragon Property Services in 2006, Heather served as a Property Assistant at RREEF Management Company, where she prepared lease agreements and renewals, assisted in managing maintenance of the properties, and worked with vendors on tenant improvements and capital projects. She also assisted in marketing events for the portfolio.

Heather Peterson, Director of Compliance and Property Operations, oversees compliance and operational excellence across Tarragon Property Services' residential and commercial portfolios, encompassing more than 4,800 apartment homes and 4.2 million square feet of commercial space. With over 20 years of industry experience, she leads compliance initiatives spanning multiple jurisdictions, including rent control regulations, landlord-tenant requirements, energy codes, lease audits, insurance tracking, and operational best practices, while partnering closely with property teams to ensure consistent standards and exceptional performance across the portfolio.
