Culture

Community is more than just the area it resides. It’s the people, the sense of belonging, the togetherness, and mutual drive towards collective well-being. It’s the finding a way to help your neighbor no matter what. Committing to personal sacrifice to offer real time and sweat to building a better tomorrow.

Community is everything. We strive to not only build the lasting locations for communities to develop but to directly participated in improving and helping those communities around us.

Personal Development

The sky’s the limit; current employees can work hard, prove themselves and elevate to their next level internally. Prospective employees can expect opportunities and career path road maps to follow that are fully supported by leadership. We provide comprehensive, on-the-job training, annual review/coaching and professional skill development.

TPS in the Community

TPS is dedicated to giving back to our community. We feel there is a solid connection between caring about our community and actively volunteering – it feels good and makes us better employees. Our internal employee volunteer program, Tarragon Loves Community (TLC), gives employees opportunities to help various local causes during work hours. We will continue to volunteer our time at Northwest Harvest, Food Lifeline, Puyallup Food Bank, Sumner Food Bank, The Forgotten Children’s Fund, and Sunrise Village/Kent Station Food and Blood Drives.

Diversity Equity & Inclusion

In the effort to have a more inclusive and open organization, we have formed the Inclusion Diversity Equity Action (IDEA) committee. Here at TPS, understanding, acceptance, and valuing of differences between each other inside and outside of our organization is the TPS Way. Although we are at the beginning stages of building this program internally, it is an important step toward embracing and celebrating differences as well as aligning employees to our shared fundamentals/values.
I am so proud to work along side a good work family that I can trust, strategize with and help me make the best decisions for the company. At TPS, we work hard together and celebrate victories together.

Good Times, Good People

Giving back to the community, one pound at a time. Volunteering has always been a very important part of who we are at TPS. We will continue to strive towards meaningful work that drives change within our communities and across our industry. TPS employees come together each year to help make a positive impact on our surrounding communities. The TPS Team has helped collect over 113,000 pounds of food for charities such as Northwest Harvest, Move for Hunger, Food Lifeline, Puyallup Food Bank, and Sunrise Village Food Drive. Wow, that is a lot of food…approximately 10 adult elephants worth in weight!

We are a “work fam” in every way. The best thing about my team is that we all appreciate, encourage, support, and care about each other. We make sure everything is well not just with work, but outside in our personal lives as well. As a team, we take pride in work we do for our properties and have high expectations to do what is right for our tenants and the community.
